The text book that was used was  The story and its Writer the ninth edition. Compare and contrast two short stories. The Necklace by Author Guy de Maupassant’s and Miss Brill by Author Katherine Mansfield’s. Aspects of similarity to look for might be, but are certainly not limited to: plot, theme, point of view, tone, character, irony, symbolism, setting, time period etc. The above stated aspects are also issues that may be discussed for differences that you may mention.
